A "safer" way to make outbound calls

every outgoing call I have made catches callers off guard. I think the timing of connect may be off. Every call connects me with the caller saying over and over "hello....hello, hello" They seem to be on the call before myself. I think they are a little thrown off by the "you are being connected to" Once again, you are ahead of your time here, which sometimes is tough, because the users are not acclimated to it. Not a huge issue, but I think possibly keeping it simple and having me connected first then listening to the ringing could be more effective

I agree that Ringio is ahead of it's time.  However, I routinely get the same response from people.  Hello, hello, are you there?

I'll add my +1 to this annoyance.  I have started saying hello, hello, hello before I even hear them because I've had people hang up before I can even say anything.

+1.  I have this problem too, and it's annoying. I mentioned it to Jon Yu, and I think he said they're working on it for the next version of Ringio.
