how would RingIO work with conference phones?

I'm working use-cases for moving our phone service over to RingIO, and I am stuck on how conference phones would work.   We have a series of Polycom conference phones in our office.  I expect that I'd either need a direct public telephone number assigned to each conference phone, or I'd need an on-premise call processor in the office to handle call routing for those phones.

Do you have any documentation or recommendations on how this setup could work?

Thanks,

-Brian

Hi Brian... cool that you are the first person to ask a community question :-)

Since this is something that I have some info about, I thought I'd answer first.

The Summer Release of Ringio, coming out at the end of this week, has a new feature that allows you to specify not only the phone number to dial when Ringio is trying to contact a user, but also an extension.

So if you had a PBX and the conference phone was hanging off of extension 1005, you could dial "703-555-555 x1005#" and Ringio will dial the PBX, then the extension, then connect the waiting caller to the person who answers the conference phone.

Is this what you were looking for?
