How does international calling work?

International calling can be set up for your VoIP/softphones that allows you to call anywhere in the world as you normally would (eg., you dial the country prefix 011...  etc, without having to enter a calling card number or password.  See below for calling rates.

How do I enable international calling?

You will need to be an active Ringio customer before we can enable international calling for you.

Send support@ringio.com an email telling us you want to buy international call credits.  Call credit is available in $100 increments and do not automatically recharge.  You will need to already have a SIP user ID set up so we can assign the international call credit to your user ID.

This is great, but your international calling rates are very, very far from competitive.  UK, Australia, etc. a few most VOIP providers are around two cents per minute, but this listing shows $.78 or more per minute to the UK?  Something does not look right?  With that kind of difference in cost we would have to use Google Voice or Skype for international calls...  Would love to stick with one system know if you can utilize different international trunk provider for more competitive rates.

What about having inbound international DID numbers? These are available through Skype for only $6 per month if your system can accept a sip trunk for incoming calls from Skype?
