Here's how to transfer calls from the Ringio application.  Currently there isn't a key sequence that you can press on the phone to transfer calls.  Ringio enables you to search for existing contacts by name or number and transfer the calls.

When you are on the phone, you will notice the center pane in the Ringio application displaying the contact that you are speaking with.  The Transfer button is among the four prominent buttons shown directly below your contact information.   Click on Transfer.

You'll see an input field below the four buttons.  Type in the contact name you wish to transfer to.

As you start typing the contact's name, a drop down list automatically displays the contacts matching the keys you type.  Click on the contact you wish to transfer to and you're done.

* If you want to transfer a call to another number directly without entering a name, you can add that contact on the fly (see bottom of this page) while you are on the phone and resume with the steps below.

* Adding a new contact on the fly before transferring them

To add a new contact as you are getting ready to transfer them, click the '+' button near the top right corner of your application.  Give your contact a name, and you'll search for that name to transfer a call.

You are still on the phone and the green button near the top (shown below) will indicate this.  Finish entering the contact information and click save at the bottom of the pane, and then click on the green button to return to the transfer screen.  Resume with the rest of the call transfer steps.
